Anthony Fournier-Baïxas was born in Paris, in 1978.
He graduated from l’Ecole spéciale d’architecture in 2003.
After ten years as a partner in a property development architectural firm, mostly building condominiums, he decides to focus on working with private clients.
In 2014, Anthony founds his own design and architect agency: atelier parisien based in Paris.
Today, grounded by his 18-year experience, he continues to evolve with trends and tendencies, constantly innovating.
Asked about his architecture firm so far, Anthony responds that he has been amazed by the pace of acquiring and undertaking so many enviable projects in such a short time. Picking challenges large and small, pouring tremendous energy into projects, and working together with teams of incredible professionals, has been a huge part of his leitmotiv, Anthony reports with his trademark enthusiasm.
What he loves above all is creating fabulous living and working spaces, in close collaboration with those who dreamt of them. His ability to listen and understand his client’s desires, readily incorporating the client’s team or family’s observations, placing attention to detail, ensures projects reach their full potential. A strong focus on optimizing space leads to creating unique places for tomorrow’s needs.
Anthony stands by his couture signature of having a tailor-made approach. He studies, listens, and observes his client, incorporating the latter’s remarks in the project, assimilates architectural trends, resorts to new craftsmanship ensuring the exceptionality and functionality of a unique project.
Anthony relates to being an artisan, as he is brought to work closely with many talented artists, ensuring the excellence of a project.
He asserts:
‘…A precise place, in a precise location, openings, views, perspectives, open-spaces, independent offices, the flow of movement, sounds, common spaces, morning light/ evening light…all play a role in the concept of the perfect place.’
In 2019, a top New York model agency assigned atelier parisien to fully renovate their Paris headquarters, knowing ‘ap’ would grasp the true essence of their idea of a contemporary Parisian interior.
It became clear to Anthony that the purpose of atelier parisien was to centre its focus on a one-of-a-kind project. Being awarded the renowned Beaux-Arts Magazine architecture contest in 2019, fully renovating the 650m2 penthouse duplex, confirmed atelier parisien's intentions.
Today he collaborates with 12 project associates. Anthony puts a strong emphasis on work ethics, hence giving credit where it’s due.
Each partner or project manager brings his trademark or expertise with full recognition of his participation in the global project, giving roots to the atelier parisien branding.
